About Us

When we began exploring wood-burning solutions for our own homes, we found a market full of underperforming wood — wet or poorly dried, inconsistent quality, unreliable availability and the majority imported from overseas (over £7B leaves the UK economy each year in wood imports). We saw a gap between what customers expect (instant heat, low smoke, long burn, convenience) and what many suppliers deliver. So we built something better — a wood business that engineers the full process: sourcing, harvesting, processing, drying, and delivery, with the environment, the quality of the product and customer experience front of mind. That’s how The Log Club and Freedom Logs were born. From seed to flame — We source 100% UK timber from responsibly managed forests that are FSC certified. Grown, processed and dried in Britain — Every log is cut, kiln-dried, and packed here in the UK, supporting British forestry jobs, UK operations and support, our UK technology team, and UK engineering and logistics partners. Off-grid eco kilns — We dry using self-generated energy from our processing wood waste, not fossil fuels. Super-dry logs — Low moisture for hotter, cleaner burns and easier lighting. Freedom means Low emissions & clean combustion — Woodsure “Ready to Burn” compliance provides assurance of our quality. Built to scale responsibly — Modular kilns and off grid energy systems and technology let us grow without compromise. Every part of Log Club and our Freedom Logs brand is rooted in the UK. Our logs are harvested from British forests, processed and kiln-dried at our Cheshire site, and delivered via trusted UK logistics partners. From forestry teams to customer support and technology and engineering development, we keep jobs, expertise, and investment here at home — strengthening the UK economy and keeping our supply chain short, transparent, and resilient. Consistently dry, high-performance logs — not wood that’s been sitting in sheds or hauled across Europe on its journey to your wood burning stove. Flexible Subscribe & Save : pause, change, or cancel anytime. Priority supply for subscribers in peak season. Clear, honest communication at every step. Continuous improvements to reduce environmental impact. Tim Jones — A background in digital marketplaces (Auto Trader, MoneySupermarket, Money Saving Expert) renewable technology (Good Energy, Zap Map), and retail operations and Manufacturing (Photobox); customer experience and technology driven, focused on the customer, and committed to sustainable design. Gary Jacobson — Deep expertise in engineering and manufacturing innovation (BICC, BiFold); leads sourcing, production strategy, and scalable growth. Together we combine technology, engineering, operations, customer centricity and ethics to bring you a better way to heat your home. Log Club isn’t just a firewood wood supplier — it’s a community. With our Subscribe & Save model, you get year-round reliability and performance with a lower environmental footprint. Explore Kiln Dried Wood Burner Logs · Set Up a Subscription · Read the Blog
